The current study reveals to what degree Ahram and The Seventh day, Egyptian online news websites, is committed to immediacy, balance, and neutrality during their coverage to the political crisis after the third of July 2013.
The study use integrated approach includes both Dependency Theory and Gate keeping theory.
It implies questionnaire on 125 followers the coverage of the crisis, in addition to in-depth interview with 17 journalists from several national and privet newspapers.
The study reveals there are differences between Ahram and The Seventh day in covering the Egyptian political crisis in favor to Ahram in role, immediacy, neutrality, and balance aspects on indication level 0.001*0.001*0.01,0.01
