Abstract EN

This study examines the position of Arabic language in Zaki Al- Arsouzi's publications- the national Arab Syrian intellectuals- and their role in modern Arab renaissance through the basics of his ideal philosophy which was based on the investigation of the secrets of Arabic language and the notion of Arabism with its various revival dimensions, on the one hand, and his connecting it with both concepts of nation and nationalism and its relation with revival concepts such as freedom, justice and ethics, on the other hand.

The study reveales the purity of the origin of Arabic language and its ability to express human sensations and feelings in their exact meanings and most beautiful pictures.

This was clear when talking about the roots, derivation, poetics and rhetoric of the Arabic word to employ it particularly in the national intellectual creation and human’s thought in general.
