Abstract EN

Research of unemployment is one of the most important social and economic studies because of its importance in the political and social mobility despite the worsening unemployment in Syria, year after year, the government policy and projects are still below the level of the problem.

The research aims to analyze the phenomenon of unemployment in Syria in terms of causes, types and effects of social and economic development, to develop an appropriate strategy for a solution.

three approaches: the approach of factor analysis problem approach, the statistical approach and are adopted.

The research discusses the types of unemployment, and select natural causes, demographic and administrative, economic, educational and underinvestment.

The reality of was analyzed unemployment in Syria according to age groups and provinces.

The results of unemployment on Syrian society socially, economically and politically were reviewed, and solution were suggested to develop an appropriate strategy to address unemployment.

The terms of this strategy can work as a system and can be arranged according to the priorities commensurate with spatial characteristics of the regions or each sector or stage, consistent with the potential funding, implementation and follow-up.
