Abstract EN

The study aims to an in-depth knowledge in the form and content of modern painting, and extrapolate their philosophical and artistic roots on the basis of the debate that took place in the concerned circles around them، and on the basis of their effective impact in the context of painting formation at the level of the artistic construction.

The study comes in an Introduction and three sections، In the Introduction we have presentation of the subject And a definition of some of the key terms in the field of form and content, the first section studies the form، and its defined functions and differences at both the theoretical and practical level.

The second section studies the importance of the presence of content in the philosophy of Plato And how the content raises its themes in the context of modern painting, In the third and last section we have a study of a dialectical relationship between the form and content and how the painting develops in artistic way in which we can make sure of the painting's ability to Impact society and in its participation in the production of multiple functions.
