Despite the proliferation of multi-billion dollar multi-billion dollar institutions, the economic and social balance in countries requires them to pay attention to entrepreneurs and Micro & small entrepreneurs who venture to create small businesses that provide the national economy with administrative and technical capabilities and balance society economically and socially.

Micro & Small enterprises have there before becoming the focus of efforts of most Governments of both developed and developing countries.

In this research the researcher will try to answer the following questions:  What is the concept of Micro & Small Enterprises? What are the criteria used to classify them?  What is the role of Micro & small enterprises to achieve economic development?  What is the impact of these Enterprises on value-added, facing unemployment, and providing jobs?  What is the reality of Micro & Small Enterprises in Jordan?  What are the prospects for these Enterprises in Jordan, and their impact on economic development? At the end of the research, the researcher will make some recommendations based on the research results
