English Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of the contribution of traditional industries and crafts in tourism development, in addition to efforts by official institutions in support of this sector in order to achieve the development of tourism tourism as one of the economic sectors of the relying party of the state of economic diversification in light of the retreat of oil prices, The study dealt with the concept of the development of tourism and the role of traditional industries, the study also considered government policies and actions to promote this sector in medea to individuals and institutions belonging to the private sector, including the organization of the development and restructuring of the institutions of traditional industries and crafts, and through the diagnosis of the economic reality of this sector, Through the diagnosis of the economic reality of this sector, the study had reached a set of conclusions based on some of the recommendations have been proposed.
