English Abstract

This study is designed to highlight the extent of the efficiency of the currency museum in Tunisia in the preservation and presentation of his belongings, as well as the extent of the adoption of modern museum standards.

We can say that the specialized museums emerged in the mid 20th century, and is one of the modern museums,which emerged thanks to the progress in the museographic thought, a specific theme, where the focus on this subject in detail, and the holdings of these museums are often based on historic sequence of Possesions before.

Tunisia is one of the most prominent Arab states that the recovery of the tourism sector and its vitality as a result of a State policy based on linking the cultural sector in various other sectors, and the big difference in the nature of the museum holdings, and desires of the public to identify cultural, Tunisia exploited this difference to activate the museum movement and economic and tourism development.
