Abstract EN

Folk textualization in Arabic poetry is considered to be rich in knowledge and skill especially because it connects reality with imagination and reflects the mental and structural power of the author and receiver.

Folk textualization is a mix of great past and genuine present looking forward to a bright future.

Folk textualization opens knowledge horizons with its stories, values, customs, folk songs, and proverbs through which it draws a creative image and uncovers reality and humanity.

This study aims at explaining the concept of textualization and folk literature, and it scientifically applies some folk issues in the literary works by Al-Saket and Al-Mahadeen represented in stories, historical figures, values, customs, and proverbs, which the author considers to be supporter and evidence.

The study also focuses on some expressions that indicate the spread of singing with all its types among nations.

The paper also studies some poetic devices which are usually rich in implied meanings
