الإيجاز و الإطناب في تفسير جوامع الجامع للطبرسي (ت 548 ه)‎

Abstract EN

This Research deals with the Briefing and the Expatiate phenomena in the Tafsir of Sheikh Abu Ali Fadhl bin Hassan al-Tabarsi (Jawamea al- Jamea), 458 AH.

And it is divided in two sections: The first one, in the brief phenomenon, where the researched highlighted types of brevity that al-Tabarsi referred to, and he talked about the rhetorical value of the shortening briefing in the performance of a lot of meaning in little words.

And he stated that the amplification is also one of the purposes.

In the briefing of the deletion, he hinted to some kinds of it and the reasons of the delete and connotations that performed, including deleting the predicate to shortening and indicating the speech about it, and delete the predicate to prove the meaning of the verb to the subject or generalization and to delete the conditional (as) or because of the long of the speech or the confusion, and delete the answer of the (If) for the maximization and intimidation.

In the second section of expatiate, Tabarsi mentioned the style of repetition and its benefit, like the maximization and the ugliness and the style of illustration after the deludes and its rhetoric benefits like maximization and aggrandizement, which can be deleted from the speech, for the moral benefit.
