Abstract EN

This paper is a contribution to the debate on the impact of corruption on the inflow of foreign direct investment; a part of researchers believes that corruption stimulates foreign investment while the other part believes the opposite.

This study analyzes the impact of corruption on foreign direct investment in 25 developing countries for the period of 2004 to 2015, based on the data from UNCTAD for Foreign direct investment index and corruption perception index from transparency international; using the penal data methods, This study concluded that corruption has a negative impact on foreign direct investment inflow.
