The valet divided into two kinds; the first kind was working against his master's ideas and methodology, the other kind was supporting his master, as the latter is a traditional sample of valet image in Italian (dell'arte) comic.

Reading the Barber of Seville play is induce us to discover the valet role in running the play chapters, the importance of valet which given by the author in the plot in addition to the new characters that given by the author which was different from its precedent in Molière theater, as the valet is not necessity subjugate to his master will, the good or the evil one, but he is the basic mover of the play.
