The main subject of this memory is the study of a method among monetary methods, which is the structural approach that emerged in the second half of the twentieth century, through showing its cognitive content.

To reach this aim, we followed a systematic approach of revealing the theoretical background and rational of the structural approach, and its conceptual apparatus based on a set of principles, rules and foundations.

We have reached a number of results, the most important of which is that the structural approach represents an important stage in the development of the monetary method.
