Abstract EN

The global changes that have taken remarkable places in the business world today, result in the cultural and social development.

The aggravation of the social, economic and environmental problems in the countries of the world impose great pressures on these companies in order to meet their obligations and responsibilities and correct the irresponsible practices issued by it.

Thus, business organizations should change their perception of society in an attempt to improve their image and to play an active and positive role in society To be more responsive to social performance, the institution must place social responsibility at the heart of its strategy.

Social responsibility is designed to improve the lives of individuals and society by addressing specific problems and finding practical solutions to them in order to ensure sustainable development that has become Reality.

Algeria is one of the Arab countries that have shown interest in the issue of social responsibility, culture and practice.

This concern has not only come from the state and the government sector, but many companies operating in the private sector and even the public sector have shown a great deal of socially responsible practices.

Social responsibility emerged as a concept that established the idea of a national society that was called for more than charity and voluntary work.

Many Algerian institutions embraced social responsibility practices as a form of modern management practice that benefits all stakeholders.

The following problem paper: What is the reality of social responsibility in the Algerian institution and what are the challenges facing its application ?
