The role of medicinal and aromatic plants in human health and ecological balance is indisputable.
because of their culinary and therapeutic uses, these natural resources occupy a considerable socio-economic place.
however, because of the water scarcity in arid zones, the biomass of spontaneous vegetation of these species is becoming weaker and the dependence on other regions is constantly increasing.
for the purpose of studying the agronomic behavior of three species of medicinal and aromatic interest; nigella, fenugreek and cress garden, an experimental trial was conducted at the adrar research station.
the obtained results revealed a good vegetative behavior of the studied species despite the agronomic difficulties of the experimental site.
the grain yields are low to satisfactory.
they are 4.36, 9.40 and 17.37 q/ha respectively for nigella, fenugreek and cress garden.
investment in this area can provide an acceptable income for young investors and improve the income of the peasant population.

Le rôle des plantes médicinales et aromatiques pour la santé humaine et l’équilibre écologique est incontestable.
en raison de leurs usages culinaires et thérapeutiques, ces ressources naturelles occupent une place socio-économique considérable.
cependant, à cause de rareté de l’eau dans les zones arides, la biomasse des végétations spontanées de ces espèces devient de plus en plus faible et la dépendance envers d’autres régions croit sans cesse.
dans le but d’étudier le comportement agronomique de trois espèces à intérêt médicinal et aromatique ; la nigelle, le fenugrec et le cresson, un essai expérimental a été effectué dans la station de recherche d’adrar.
les résultats obtenus ont révélé un bon comportement végétatif des espèces étudiées et ce malgré les difficultés agronomiques du site expérimental.
les rendements en grains sont faibles à satisfaisants.
ils sont de l’ordre de 4,36, 9,40 et 17,37 q/ha respectivement pour la nigelle, fenugrec et le cresson.
l’investissement dans ce domaine peut assurer un revenu acceptable pour les jeunes investisseurs et améliorer le revenu de la population paysanne.
