Selfless personality has the ability to suppress the personal tendency for selfishness and predilection through its effort to make people happy, to show sympathy, ignoring self-demands and moderation in fulfilling them, especially when they contradict with the public interest and the general welfare.

Of the different art types, the theater is considered to be the art most comprehending the problems of life and human, as it can embodies the feelings of others and exceeds its limits to others, it is an art that is capable of influencing the humanitarian group which it live with and influence them, according to this vision the research focuses on this selfless character in theatrical text and highlights its behavior, actions and relationships through theater and theories of psychology, the research includes four chapters, The first chapter includes research problem identified by following question: How the selfless personality represented as a psychological and educational subject in the play texts of A'del Kazem? While the importance of research is manifested by providing analytical study of the personalities of the Iraqi playwright (A'del Kazem) and the selfless and self-sacrifice that characterizes them, And then derive the aim of the research, which is defining the selfless personality and its function in the theatrical texts of A'del Kazem, whereas the limits of the research included years 1960-1970, and the chapter ended by defining the key terms contained in the research title.

The second chapter included three sections, the first was concerned with studying the concept of selfless personality, and the second was concerned with studying the selfless personality psychologically, while the third section was concerned with studying the selfless personality in the world stage, then the chapter ended by addressing previous studies and indicators resulting from the theoretical framework.
