The aim of this research is to show the role of translation and to identify the obstacles and difficulties in the translation of the Quranic text into English, and its manifestations, in terms of the worldview and the level of cultural, socio-cultural specificity.

As well as of the literal and figurative style.

The question to pose is whether it is possible for the translator to adopt the same approaches and theories conceived by the translation studies in the Western World with the translation process of the meanings of the Koran, and with reference to the views of ancient Arab theorists
