Abstract EN
The present article deals with the analysis of Media (Mass Communication) as a phenomenon from the cultural perspective.
It highlights its impacts on the cultural identity of the Algerian Touat society during the globalization era.
It also describes how this society interacts with media's appearances through its modern transformations that it witnessed due to globalization.
Accordingly, the article defines the concept cultural identity which depicts the personal and spiritual entity for an individual.
On the one hand, it is the main engine for any civilization or nation.
On the other hand, in its modern intellectual content, media aims at publishing one cosmic culture under the cover of globalization for it is considered one of the main means that determines the relation between the cultural identity and societies.
