The Thaalba tribe is one of the Arab tribes that have become famous with the Amazigh population in central Algeria.

Ibn Khaldun chronicled this tribe and its struggle with the states of the Umayyad era and then with the Zayani and Marinites.

Then its name was associated with the Ottoman presence and the liberation of the Algerian coasts from the Spanish occupation.

This tribe was one of the most famous scholars of Algeria and the Islamic world, Cheikh Abderrahmane Al-Thalabi.
