In this work the international golden ratio (1.6180339887) was used in the photonic crystal fiber (PCFs) to find two zeros dispersion wavelength (ZDW).
A new ratio of the air (hole- hole spacing to the holes diameter) equal to 2 has been introduced to achieve two ZDWs.
The effect of the air holes number on the dispersion curve were studied also.
Maxwell's equation in the PCF were solved numerically using finite difference in the frequency domain (FDFD) scheme.
The study shows that the PCF can be tunable to have appropriate ZDW and two ZDWs by using the golden ratio.
