The structure of positive parity states in 141-147La isotopes has been investigated using the interacting boson fermion model (IBFM-2).
The 140-146Ba nuclei have been used as the cores.
The seven protons beyond Z = 50 closed shell are allowed to occupy the 1g7/2, 2d5/2, 2d3/2, 3s1/2 and 1h11/2 single particle orbitals.
The study of the influence of the boson-fermion interaction parameters on the energy states has been undertaken.
The reduced transition probabilities and branch ratios of these nuclei have been calculated and compared with the available experimental data
