Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the most important Factors influencing non performing loans in the jordanian commercial banks, , the study result suggests that the following factors are the most influencing one's within each group : 1) decline follow up customers after grant credit with the lack credit studies 2) the use of loan for other purposes rather than which it was granted, besides the change in the customer's behavior after obtaining loan.

3) moreover the lack of staff experience and decision makers in credit facilities departments 4) the absence of effective punitive procedures to address and punish offenders 5) finally Economic recession, inflation and global financial crises.

Finally the researcher recommends that Jordanian banks should increase interest in studies of credit and rely on accurate and reliable source of information.

Also, she recommends the development of follow-up program loans after giving customers continue to pay the full loan, and the development of human resources in the branches of Jordanian banks and in the areas of credit analysis methods, and evaluation of safeguards, and others.
