Abstract EN

This research work is a study of a collection of issues in which jurists have discussed women testimony.

It reports the areas of agreement and disagreement on accepting women testimony in financial transactions, family jurisprudence, jurisprudence of prescribed penalties, jurisprudence of crimes, and jurisprudence of blood money.

This study does not aim at giving a general decisive opinion on accepting or rejecting women testimony.

Instead, it examines the jurisprudents' views on the issues involving women testimony.

It also points to the controversy among jurisprudents' views and the evidence which supports each view while highlighting what the researcher deems preponderant.
