The industrial subcontracting is applied in many countries around the word due to its great importance in achieving industrial development through the use of modern technology and providing the conditions that will give production the competitiveness characteristic, by improving the quality and creating complementarities between big industries ‘sector, small and medium industries, which will create work opportunities and will participate in resolving the problem of unemployment.

The industrial subcontracting is considered as an important element for the development, changes and diversification in small and medium business that sustains big industries by subcontract its secondary activities or parts of its products.

We are about to show, through this research, the role of the industrial subcontracting as a support mechanism for the creation and promotion of small and medium enterprises, by highlighting the accordance of industrial subcontracting strategy with the nature of small and medium business, in term of forms and specialization, as well as the importance of subcontracting in encouraging the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises and improving their competiveness ability.
