The African Sahel region is considered one of the most vulnerable areas of Africa.

The region is affected by a number of complex and dangerous security threats, the effects of which are beyond the borders of the states and even the borders of the African Sahel.

This is due to the specificity and nature of the new security threats imposed on the countries of the region after the changes and changes in the international environment.

The Cold War in various political, economic, social and environmental fields, which in turn led to a reconsideration of the concept of security from its narrow traditional concept to its comprehensive and expanded concept in light of the increasing risks and security bets in the Cent of new security for the post-cold war and its impact on the stability and peace in the region as a whole, which prompted a group of internal, regional and international powers to think about finding suitable for building peace and security and sent stability mechanisms.
