This search tries to show clear picture about the linguistic dictionary in Arabic culture; by giving a definition of this type of specialized dictionary, and monitoring his various models, and hollowing his configuration steps, and showing the modern Arab efforts in the field of linguistic term, such as putting the terminology lists, and glossaries, and linguistic publication, without forgetting linguistic translation, with identifying the different goals which this linguistic dictionary it seeks to achieve; weather was it knowledge goal, or communicative, or taxonomic, or referential, or discriminatory, or civilization.
