Hazem Al- kortajni who is Hazem bin Mohamed bin Hassan bin Hazem Al- kortajni abu Al-Hassan (608- 684 AH /1211-1285AD) is the author who writes the book named" Rhetorical Method and the Writers' Light" in the seventh century AH.

The research aims to study the style in Hazem's book and explains what has been renewed and what preceded it.

In addition, the extent of follow-up to the previous one even in acceptance and follow-up without addition, or with creativity and addition.

This study reveals that how Hazem Al- kortajni was strongly influenced by the Greek culture or by scientists such as Ibn Sinan Al-Khafaje,AL-Jaheth,AL-Amedi, AlJerjani and others.

The research starts with an introduction that shows the stages of the formation of experiences, and the stages of information acquisition, followed by a description of the book "Rhetorical Method and the writers' light" written by Hazem Al- Kortajni, with mention of the first section of the four sections was lost that make up the book edited by editor the investigator Mohammed ALHabeeb Ibn ALKhojah drew affention to the style of the book "Rhetorical Method and the Writers' Light" has a special section where the poetry section is divided into two parts: serious style and humorous style that have a special study, where the section of poetry manifests the influence by other scientists.

Furthermore ,the study conducted a contrast between the texts in the book, "Rhetorical Method and the writers' light" and other texts to show the extent of the benefit and to reveal to what extent Hazem Al- Kortajni benefited of those and to follow-up on those who preceded it.
