Abstract EN

This research aims to investigate and clarify the concept of morals according to al-Ghazali, in addition to its relationship with mysticism, and the contemporary educational applications of al-Ghazali’s moral theory.

The major conclusions of the study are: a) al-Ghazali differentiates between nature, habit and good manners as different causes of moral development, b) al-Ghazali discussed the moral education methods and their stages, c) al-Ghazali’s moral theory is consistent with contemporary moral education theories.
