The study aimed ultimately to assess the effectiveness of the special education classes that are appended to the schools of public education in Jeddah in order to stand on this experience and get into some recommendations that help improve and develop this system, and however get integrated with what have so far been conducted in the studies that evaluated the programs of special educations at other areas in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia .

This study has used the descriptive surveillance method that aims at evaluating the effectiveness of special education classes at the schools of public education in Jeddah from the point of view of teachers themselves.

The sample of the study consisted of those who provide special education services.

(98) Teachers have been haphazardly chosen from the study environment at the schools of public education.

They were distributed according to the variables of the study, namely: diagnosis and evaluation, educational environment, cooperation, and the programs of special education classes.

The study has also made use of a measure to evaluate the effectiveness of special education classes in the United Arab Emirates according to teachers' point of view, prepared by Al-Karyouti, and others (2004).

Results of the current study have shown that all of the averages for the dimensions included in the tool of the study "a measure for the special education classes effectiveness" ranged between 3,34 and 3,6 and these are values that exceed 3, and however were accredited as a cut point used to refer to the effectiveness of the special education classes that are appended with the schools of public education in Jeddah.
