This study attempts to study the effectiveness of space and time in the composition of the historical event in the novel “The Flame of elmayda” of Mohammed Mafellah, a novel text written in modern times to put himself in the trap of selfrealization through the policy of return to the original virtue.

His treatment is just a celebration of the glories of the past and Algerian history, or is it an invitation to reconsider this history and to avoid all the experiences that the Algerian individual has experienced in space and time?
