Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to analyzing and measuring the relation between the dollar exchange rate, which is the central element in international finance and the economy as a whole, through fluctuations in its level against other currencies, as well as analysis of its relationship with Algerian oil exports, where the latter is the main financier of the Algerian economy, especially as Algeria collects its revenues in US dollars and pays the value of most of its imports in euros, which makes it bear the cost of the difference between currencies, especially at a decline in value,But recently it has been known to rise due to the combination of a number of reasons that have had a significant impact on the Algerian economy in general and oil exports in particular.

The study also estimated the relationship between the dollar exchange rate and oil export revenues by analyzing time series and detecting its stability based on the unit root tests, most notably the Dickie Fuller test, until the formulation and estimation of the appropriate model.

Finally, the results of the study confirmed an inverse relationship Between Algerian oil exports and the real exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar
