Abstract EN

life stress increases nowadays to the extent that some researchers has called this age : « the age of psychological stress » .

it is an age crammed with exciting events, disappointment and conflict .all these results threaten the person’s psychological and social stability and lead to the emergence of some psychological disorders.

These psychological disorders resulted from stressful emotional experiences.

These experiences lead to job dysfunction which affects the general adjustment of the person specially the married working woman who have more stress either at home or at work.

This tsress creates a conflict of roles which lead to the emergence of many psychological disorders for the woman Because of this importance, the investigator applied present study, its objectives concluded in : 1- Identification of psychological stresses level in teachers maried women 2- Identification of, marital adjustmentdegree in our sample 3- Identification of staticallycorrelation ,between psychological stresses and marital adjustment in our sample.

The Study tools have been represented , in Clinical interview and in the two psychological scales for measuring Psychological Stress and maritalAdjustment where this questionnaires were tested for their validity and reliability.

Scale measuring psychological Stress was prepared to achieve the purpose of this study, which was based on literature review, some psychometric properties and the results of a pilot study.

The study sample consisted of(40) Algerian Teachers marriedwomen from two Algerian wilayas , (Blida,Tipasa), and the group of study was selected by proposal method according to study limits.

So, the results of the study indicated that: « - There is no significant correlation between psychological stress and marital Adjustment “in teachers married women.

The study has been concluded with general practical proposals, as well a set of Recommendation and proposed studies where the investigator recommended the importance of psychological and marital support, and educating women and their family for coping strategies to adjust with their stress, and their relationships and more research to identify the nature of psychological stress.
