Abstract EN

The Mongol invasion caused devastation which affected the urban and economic aspects and affected many social areas, spreading fear and terror.

As the storm of the Mongol invasion subsided and the Mongols began to integrate into the new Islamic environment , the rivalry between the Sunnis and Shiites emerged to attract these Mongols .

And used in this competition multiple means to win the Mongols of the two sects differed according to the internal and external circumstance in which the Ilkhani was passing .

Tolerance to the religions and sects followed by the Mongols , especially after their conversion to Islam was an important factor that led to the revival of the Shi'a doctrine benefited from the sympathy and care of the Alikhanat , despite their conversion to sunni Islam .
