Abstract EN

This paper analyzes the religious and political aspects of the relationship between Muslim India and Palestine during India's Islamic and colonial periods.

It does this through an investigation of the Indian presence in Palestine and their contribution to charitable activities there, particularly in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

The author utilizes historical materials deeply rooted in archival documents and collections to illustrate the contributions of Indian Muslims to the establishment of endowments in Palestine during the aforementioned periods.

In doing so, the paper highlights the efforts exerted by some of India's Muslim rulers to establish and restore religious and communal buildings in Palestine.

It also highlights the contributions of Indian rulers to charitable and humanitarian activities while exploring their role in providing financial and medical assistance to Palestine and its neighboring countries - before and after Indian independence.

Furthermore, the study discusses the interest of Indian Muslims, especially Muslim leaders and scholars, in the Palestinian cause and how this strengthened their relationship with Palestinian leaders and consolidated relations between both sides.
