Following the latest revision of the Family Code, the legislature provide that the premarital medical certificate is essential to conclude the marriage contract by the supplement to Article 07 bis, and Decree 06-154; these texts governing Relations between the three interested parte, who write the contract, the doctor and the two future spouses After ten years of implementation of the aforementioned texts, we see gaps that require further revision to help strengthen targeted protection for the health of future spouses and their children.
