Some Maghreb cities like Fez, Tlemcen and Tunis knew important cultural events during 14th century.
In this paper, we will present the role of Tlemcen’s school in the spread of mathematics and its applications, as well as logic field and inheritance science.
We will introduce the Tlemsanian scholar Said al °UqbariI (d.
1408) who was cadi (judge) in various cities, and show his contribution in teaching and maintaining a high level of mathematical education.
