This article deals with the position of sheikh Bashir Ibrahimi about popular poetry and his awareness of the need to activate this form of expression in the reform process and that because of his rapprochement and influence on the masses, and is bound to his conscience, representing their hopes and sorrows.

el Ibrahimi has therefore tried to invest folk poetry to defend national identity on the one hand, and exploit it as a media consciousness of the other.
