Abstract EN

The current article examines a new psychological property, because there is a few Arabic studies that talked about this trait ; although she received much attention in the western studies , called sense of coherence.

this property is discovered by "Aaron Antnovsky" in his research about health and disease, he says there are people who maintains their mental and physical health compared to individuals living in the same pressure and high-impact conditions.

so, he focused his researchs to answer a key question: (why some individuals retain their health in difficult and harsh conditions compared with others going through the same problems )? and he concluded that those individuals are characterized by a psychological trait called sense of coherence.these one consists of three components are "sense of comprehensibility,sense of manageability sense of meaningfulness";these components considered as a resource of health in a time of crisis.

this article tries to definition this property, and to clarify the role played by reducing stress and how to keep the physical and mental health.
