Abstract EN

This research is one of the theoretical researches which talks about cognitive learning strategies and the metacognitive ones, and their activating in the school area because of their importance in learning, besides it talks about the achievement motive which is necessary to start learning and continue in it, as well as the theories which interpreted it.

this theoretical approach endeavours, by examining the psychological literary heritage, to discover the impact of learning strategies in the school adolescent‟s achievement motive , by referring to a set of available descriptive and experimental research and studies which were carried out in this context, so as to emphasize the importance of these strategies in improving the achievement motive and academic performance in general.
