The freedom of religion and belief is considered of among basic freedoms in the constitutions, and freedom of conscience is wider scope of freedom of belief, conscience is not a question of belief only In it a religious aspect , but not limited to it, As for the the freedom of belief and religious practice are of interest mainly the relationship between religions and views of the Maghreb constitutions noticed they were unanimous on the text by varying formats, but where has pursued two methods certainly different either directly or by text after the reminder that Islam is the official religion of the state, but for the freedom of conscience alone with the Tunisian Constitution stipulating that freedom explicitly contrary to the Algerian and Moroccan constitutions.
