The international community has recognized the importance of political freedoms which make the former work to provide the necessary safeguards for protecting these freedoms.

this led to the drafting of international agreements which protect the political freedoms.

however, there are disparities in protection at the global and regional levels in addition to the existence of those disparities at the regional systems of human rights.
