In This study, we have focused on the green endowment (green waqf), as a tool of Islamic financial instruments symbiotic which is interested in green investments to achieve sustainable development.

we highlighted its developmental importance and its mechanisms.

we have submitted proposals to activate its role in more practice.

finally, we concluded that it has an active role in achieving sustainable development within economic, social and environmental dimensions.
