Abstract EN

The Health Dimension of Human Development means that a person lives a long and healthy life by providing the necessary medical clinics and providing them with staff, the commitment of the staff to attend their work, secure the necessary medical supplies, and not to refrain from treating patients because of their inability to pay for the service, or because of sex, race or religion.

It should be noted that the provision of some indicators from the geographical perspective may help decision makers to achieve the ambitions of the rulers/the guardians and the formulation of the policies aimed at improving the quality of life of the population of the Kingdom.

The main study problem that can be crystallized into the knowledge of the level of health dimension of development can be determined by answering the following question: What are the dimensions of variation in indicators of the health dimension of development, and its statistical significance according to a number of variables? Given the expected benefit of this study after providing indicators that help decision- makers in formulating policies aimed at working on the health services of the population of the kingdom; this study seeks to achieve a number of objectives, most notably: Identifying the spatial distribution of infrastructure indicators or the physical potential of health services at the level of the administrative regions in the Kingdom; shedding light on spatial variation of the distribution of human resources for health in the study area; and understanding the health situation at the level of administrative regions in the Kingdom.

I use the fundamentalist Approach to identify the causes of variation of health dimension indicators, And the Regional Approach to highlight the characteristic properties of the health dimension at the level of administrative regions in Saudi Arabia.

I use Cartographic Approach to obtain results and recommendations of the study.
