The scientific discoveries in the last 25 years have exceeded all what achieved over the long human history.

Many scientists see that genetic double-helix model is the greatest achievement in the 21st century.

Therefore, we should be aware of techniques that can be offered by genetic engineering and genetic fingerprinting for serving and blessing people.

However, such techniques may be a cause for disasters and problems.

We can also identify the role of genetic fingerprinting as one of judicial evidences that may promote justice and establish the state of law.

The study tries to present scientific and methodological analysis without partiality or prejudice.

The study discusses the usage of genetic fingerprinting as one of the most important scientific techniques that can be employed for activating policing, detecting crimes, and arresting crime perpetrators.

It is an analytical fundamental study that is based on two aspects.

The first aspect seeks to give a simple lexical and scientific definitions for the genetic fingerprinting, and highlight the importance and characteristics of it.

The second aspect presents a dissecting analysis that follows the rational sequence.

It starts by exploring the legality of the genetic fingerprinting usage.

Some jurists see that genetic fingerprinting violates the personal rights.

Therefore, we analyze both opinions, and our personal one advocates the legality of genetic fingerprinting usage in the criminal lawsuits.

Finally, we can affirm that genetic fingerprinting is the gene structure that is regarded by specialists as a scientific proof for individual identity, and an investigation tool that can never be misleading.

In spite of its high accurate results, genetic fingerprinting include some defects.

It requires criteria for ensuring its validity.

These criteria are scientific qualifications, distinct expertise, and sound procedures.

Therefore, the usage of genetic fingerprinting technique should follow precautionary measures; especially when dealing cases associated with family and community.

In the conclusive section, we present some recommendations that should be adopted by the parties concerned with policing development.

These recommendations should be actually implemented as the scientific research goal is to benefit humanity, not to be put in closed drawers.
