This study examines the obstacles that faces the Saudi faculty members to complete of the mission in foreign universities.

the objective of this study concerns the obstacles faces the student or her escort (muhram), consulates, and educational institutions in the country of scholarship.

therefore, to find out the main reason for the interruption of the mission and return home before obtaining the required degree.

the study was conducted on all those who interrupted his mission in the humanities colleges in the women’s section at king Saud university.

who came back to their work again before having the degree and all of them of the examinees are from the first semester of 2018 academic year.

the study examined 42 student and it showed that : obstacles related to the students themselves, as 100% of them complained that they didn’t receive any courses before going to the scholarship about the country and residence there and consequent for living there.

66.7% didn’t accept easily leaving their hometown, and 71.4% faced financial problems.

66.9% faced administrative problems, 61.9% faced academic problems, 71.4% had psychological problems, 61.9% had problems with their escort (muhram) in the mission, and 61.9% said they faced racism in the country of scholarship.

as for the obstacles related to the educational facilities, the results showed that 71.4% of the new entrants did not accept the new society.

61.9% of them confirmed that heir escort (muhram) were burdensome and were not helpful, and 52.4% said that they companions did not provide psychological support to overcome obstacles.

57.1% of them confirmed that the escorts were blaming them for the scholarship decision whenever there was a problem.

as for the obstacles facing the apprenticeships, 76.2% of the students confirmed that the employees concerned with students’ affairs are not always present at the time of their work in the apprenticeships.

seventy-one percent (71.4%) said they did not intervene quickly to solve the obstacles they faced.

71.4% of them said that they do not communicate electronically, but rather slow.

the obstacles to educational institutions in the country of scholarship have been confirmed by 52.4% of them facing financial exploitation from language schools.

as for the main reason for the interruption of their mission and not to complete it, the escort (muhram) received the highest percentage as a reason for the interruption of their missions by 52.4% followed by the performance of the missions as a reason for the interruption of missions by 23.8%.
