The study aims at investigating life satisfaction of palestinian aged people.
an index of a 33-item scale was used to measure the satisfaction level of life among palestinian aged developed by the researcher, based on the life satisfaction index introduced by neugarten et al.
(1961), which was administrated to three hundred eighty-three aged people in the west bank during 2017 and who were stratifiedly selected.
the findings demonstrate that palestinian aged people reported a moderate level of life satisfaction.
factors which significantly influened life satisfaction included resident status, educa¬tional level, number of children, and religious commitment.
