The term is considered as the cornerstone in every science since it facilitates the study, and eases the exchange of views and ideas among the nation's scientists and scholars within the same nation, and among other nations’ scientists and scholars.

With the term, there exist recording and writing for the scientific cooperation among the world's scientists, and so that the new generations can benefit from the old ones ‘effort.

Therefore, on that there depends terminology which is considered among the most recent Applied Linguistics as it deals with the scientific bases for setting up terms and unifying them.

The following study seeks to observe the close relationship between the linguistic meaning of both " text", " discourse", "context" and "situation" and its terminological significance in the science where it is put in, because the terms of each subsequent science has a necessary presence.

After a thing comes into being, it needs to be named.

Thus, the nation’s scholars choose for it from the language words the term that suits it on the basis that the relationship between linguistic meaning which is the original meaning and the terminological meaning that is the new semantic meaning which is not original.
