The study title is " The Effectiveness of Using E-books on the Academic Achievement of the Students Of the Secondary First in Teaching English Language Subject" This study aims at measuring the effectiveness of using E-books on academic achievement of the students of the Secondary first in teaching English language.The researcher uses the semi-experimental method .
It is known for designing the Pre-and Post –test of the control group by studying the impact of the independent variable ( E-books ) on the dependent variable (Academic Achievement).The researcher selected a random sample from first year secondary students who are currently in their second semester of the academic year 1436.H /1437.
H .The sample consists of 42 students , half of the sample constitutes the experimental group , while the other half is the control group whose were taught by the traditional method .
The students in the two groups were exposed to the Pre / Post achievement test .
To answer the questions of the study , the researcher assumes the following : 1- There are statistical significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group students and that of control group when applying the achievement test where the sake is for the experimental group sample.
2- There are statistical significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group students when applying the achievement test where the sake is for the After- Application.
The results of the study are as follows: 1- There are statistical significant differences at (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students and that of the control group in the achievement test for the experimental group.
2- There are statistical significant differences at (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students in the achievement test where the sake is for the After- Application.
