The study of the spatial characteristics of schools has acquired a large number of studies in the geography of services, especially those studies which deal with spatial distribution within cities in general, But in major cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah and Makkah, studies did not address the level of education offices within the public administration in each city.

Note that some offices are comparable to some departments of education in the provinces and some small cities in the number of schools.

The objective of this study is to analyze the spatial and size of primary school boys in the Education Bureau in Al-Raed quarter north-west of Riyadh, While highlighting the efficiency of the educational service provided by the schools to the beneficiaries of the students.

To achieve this, school data were collected from the school's educational office.

The researcher also identified the sites of the schools via a GPS device and entered the GIS program.

The results of the study revealed that the distribution of primary schools takes the pattern of random clustered, a pattern characterized by the concentration of schools around each other.

Standard distance analysis revealed, the equivalent of 60% of primary schools in the study area falls within the circle, Which gives the indication that the geographical distribution of the schools was dispersed and irregular and takes the northern direction with the extension of population concentration within the boundaries of the educational office.

Based on the results, the study recommended the redistribution of some primary school sites through the transfer of some primary schools in the Education Office to new sites.
