Abstract EN

This study, entitled "The Methodologies of Reform and Change in Surat Al-Thariyat", discusses the meaning of the ‘methodology', ‘reform' and ‘change' both linguistically and terminologically, and the relationship between reform and change.

The study also gives information about Surat Al-Thariyat in terms of its name, order, number of verses, its merit, its place of revelation either in Mecca or Medina, its harmony with the preceding and following chapters, and the suitability of its beginning to its conclusion.

The study highlights the methodologies of reform and change in the Surat Al-Thariyat, which are represented in the following: Using encouragement and intimidation style, describing the qualities of the pious, reminding people of the fate of tyrant nations, and constant reminder of believers to observe Allah.
