This research aims to study the ancient and modern literature regarding proverbs in the holy Quran.

It aims to highlight the efforts of Islamic scholars both old and new in the service of the Holy Quran, and to show the innovative vision in classification in the Quran.

This study reached to a number of results, The most prominent of these were that there is an agreement on the applicants in the linguistic and rhetorical aspects, and the appearance of differences in their consideration of some of the society's needs for the signs and benefits of the proverbs in their lives.
